Just in my opinion, C16 N.o 106 and BB18 1/4 N.o 1037 are basically Queensland Railway versions of Edward The Blue Engine and Henry The Green Engine due to their size

My special needs son says that diesel locomotive looks very similar to the Alco MRS-1.

My special needs son really likes "rail motors" like that one he finds them very interesting and highly underrated rail transportation vehicles.

Why is this loco priming so often? Is feed water treatment being used?

Lovely cinematography. I guess this complete engine and train is owned by Queensland Railways. I remember these from the 1950s/60s and the carriages were more a Tuscan colour. These in the video are almost vermillion or signal red. They look great anyway.

Amazing video Paul was a good day

Good to see 1037 take a spin on the turntable. Seemed to go OK. I just realised that it was speeded up a bit at the end.

A great tribute to Peter Ford and family to finally see 1037 running once again. The twin of 1037 still in Mackay will be a long term challenge for all Downssteam members. HOORAH Peter and Sonya Ford, also to the team from Mackay for their work as well.

Fabulous Video. Brought back so many memories to me when I was a Driver & Fireman of this class of loco in my 47 years in the Queensland railway system. Well done to everyone & a great tribute to the Late Peter Ford.

Hey Paul, I was travelling south on the Carnarvon Highway at Injune today and there’s an old steam locomotive is a tourist “attraction” on the northern edge of town. Looks very much like a C17. Cheers
